The Warehouse Team Member is responsible to following procedures and instructions to ensure safe, smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse to meet site and customer deadlines.

The Warehouse Team Member is responsible to following procedures and instructions to ensure safe, smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse to meet site and customer deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow all company policies and perform all duties as assigned
  • Follow the rules of safety and hygiene of the company
  • Perform specific tasks of shipping and receiving
  • Perform the goods receipts in the computer system
  • Communicate timely all problems to superiors
  • Ensure compliance with FIFO
  • Follow the Company’s established quality procedures of traceability, storage-to-shipment, delivery
  • Able to work independently and as a team member; must also be willing to help colleagues and be an effective leader
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry of reports
  • Drive forklifts safety and efficiently; maintain forklift certification
  • Travel: N/A

YOUR PROFILE
Level of education and languages:

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English

Required experience and skills:

  • Three (3) years’ experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment
  • Experience working with inventory, equipment maintenance, and performing accurate data entry
  • Experience in food grade manufacturing preferred
  • Effective communicator
  • Dependable and reliable
  • Working knowledge of warehouse operations
  • Working knowledge in logistics
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Intermediate skills in computer skills (Excel, Word, ISCALA or other ERP)

ADDITIONAL EXPECTATIONS

  • Report problematic situations to the management team, initiate corrective actions, follow an action plan, ensure the effectiveness of corrective measures according to the various certifications (FSSC 22,000, OSHAS 18001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, WCM)
  • Maintain ISO standards and safety standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement
